I’m participating in the UX Writing Challenge, provided by Daily UX Writing. So for 15 days, I’ll be posting daily, with the results of my work and I hope to get some feedback from you. Thanks in advance!

The prompt said the user is trying to view a website to help them buy a car, but the content can’t load without the user’s location, so they need to enter their ZIP code and first name. The challenge was to ask them where they live and who they are without sounding like unnecessarily mining their data.

For the title, I asked the user if they want the best deals in their area, justifying what the personal information was going to be used for. Then, in the message body, I explained that in order to provide the user the best deals, we needed their name and ZIP code.

The CTA button starts with the verb telling right away what the user needed to do, in order to get the best deals in their area.

Here’s the solution I’ve come up for this challenge:

Two cards with the instructions for challenge #10 and the solution for the challenge

I’d appreciate any feedback from you.

Thanks and see you next time! :)
