Daily UXW Challenge — Day 8
I’m participating in the UX Writing Challenge, provided by Daily UX Writing. So for 15 days, I’ll be posting daily, with the results of my work and I hope to get some feedback from you. Thanks in advance!
For this challenge, the prompt said that the user is a casual music fan and (on occasion) goes to live concerts. The challenge was to tell the user, through a music player app on their phone, that one of their favorite bands is playing live in town and to compel them to want to go.
I tried to bring the user some excitement in the title, by letting them know right away that their favorite band was playing in town.
For the body of the message, I had 45 characters to compel the users to go to the concert, so I've decided to mention it was the band's only presentation in town, tapping into the user's emotions as the concert was their unique opportunity to see them playing live.
The button was a call to action for the users to buy the ticket for the concert. It contains a clear message starting with the verb that tells the users what to do.
